Abstract

Economy of Regions enjoys a wide international readership, is highly cited in national and international
databases, and holds a leading position among Russian economic journals. The journal maintains its
tradition of publishing special issues, which provide a platform for in-depth examination of pressing
research questions with contributions from leading experts as authors, reviewers, and readers. Special
issue, Prospects for Geo-economic Partnership between Russia and China, is a unique thematic edition
prepared with the collaboration of Russian and Chinese scholars.
