Economy of Regions in WoS: new metric – best results

In 2021, Clarivate Analytics published the results of the Journal Citation Indicator (JCI). New metric became a supplement to the Impact Factor and is calculated for all journals indexed in WoS.  Journal Citation Indicator (JCI) covers even the journals listed in Emerging Source Citation Index (ESCI), which have no Impact Factor. Moreover, JCI accounts types of publications and subject area normalization. The value of the metric is calculated with the average number of all articles and reviews published in a journal over the next three years.
